The smallest plate in a standard set is 5 kg, which makes the smallest jump ten kilos on the bar, far too much on pressing movements where progress comes in small portions. The change plates run from 0.5 to 5 kg with a tolerance of ±10 grams, so you can add exactly as much as today's form allows: one kilo this week, another the next. Natural rubber with a steel core.
