The seat and handles are set so the press either goes straight overhead for the shoulders, or on an inclined path that hits the upper chest, the angle people skip, and the one that decides how the upper body looks from the front. The back support takes the lower back, so you do not press with an arch when it gets heavy. 90 kg stack in 5 kg steps. Two machines' worth of work, one machine's worth of floor.
